Hi,
My local Second Cup coffee shop how has wireless lan access. They have this "room2roam" setup where you can rent their D-LINK PC wireless 802.11b card and get high-speed internet access.
Anyone know what room2roam is? I dunno what their access point is, but the card is the usual D-Link card.
It would be great sitting there with a coffee surfing, and the coffee shop is only around the corner. They said I don't have to rent their cards, but I dunno what that "room2roam" system is. Maybe I'll rent it once to check it out, but does anyone have more info?
Any probs with D-Link cards? I am currently using a Linksys LAN/HomePNA card with Windows 2000.
