D-Link DWL-520 802.11b Wireless PCI Desktop Card $9.99

I got in on the BB deal last month but had to return the adapter due to awful performance. The DWL-520E I had would connect at full speed and then throttle down to its slowest speed when in use. Frustrating problem as the signal strength and quality were both in the 95% range. D-Link tech support blamed it on my router, a Netgear MR814v2, which works great with wireless USB adapters from Netgear and SMC, an IBM Centrino laptop and a D-Link 802.11g PCI card. At the price, I really wanted to make this 'b' card work.
