I'm having some trouble with getting the modem mentioned in the title to correctly assign IP addresses, through DHCP, to 3 PC's.
It's connected to a 5-port switch, along with the 3 PC's mentioned.
For those of you who don't what I'm talking about, have a look here.
What it's doing is trying to assign the IP address that it gets from the ISP, to all 3 of the PC's. If I disconnect it from the internet, then the DHCP server does what it's meant to...
How can the ISP assigned IP address for the internet connection have anything to do with it's DHCP server? 😕
