too bad this kvm seems to have compatibility problems with usb mice that you may use a PS2 adapter on. i've noticed a lot of kvm's have trouble with them, but not all. it has to do with a signal loss problem. some kvm's amplify the signal by attaching a 5v rail to the ps2 ports (thus amplifying them by adding any voltage that was lost, since this is all dc...)
most kvm's however, do not, because you don't supply power to most kvm's, especially ones like this that have integrated cables, exc. although this is a nice kvm, it is suitable only for a workbench where you need to quickly attach and work on 2 machines, exc. it isn't good for a rig where you'll game and probably use a nice mouse.
i've had good luck with belkin kvm's, but a good setup costs almost $100. linksys has a kvm with integrated cables that i have never had problems using a usb>ps2 convertor with, go figure.
