D-Link DIR-655 vs Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH

I have the DIR-655 personally. I have had not issues with it. I even started to use the shareport on it to share my laserjet printer and it works nice. just have to install the shareport utility and hit print and it will auto connect and print it.

Have no personal experience with buffalo products

whats is causing you to be torn between the two ?
 
I have the Buffalo, the stock firmware sucks you need to install DD-WRT right away.

Other then that it works ok but I am having a wifi issue, where it will go down but Ethernet still works.

DIR-655 rocks -- I got one right after it came out in 2005 or 2006 and it has been rock solid. You might want to consider going to the DIR-665 though, as that is the dual-band model.
