d-link di-624 port forwarding...

I have a d-link router and the following info...

forward ports 5060 & 5061 to your PAP2's (voip adapter) IP address.

this is reading like chinese to me. i read through the d-link literature. do i apply this config in LAN -> Advance -> Virtual Server??????? I thought the settings input here are used to allow communication btwn the internet and local server, but the router is not connected to the net. I have an ftp server set on my comp and need to update the pap2 with a file from the ftp root directory. i feel a headache coming along....

ok i think i figured out the forward thing. i guess i have to create a "virtual server" for each of those ports on the ip address of the voip whodunnit.

onto part 2. still am not able to update the pap2 with those unlock files. anyone gone throught this can help out?

Yes, you will have to figure out the ports from the VoIP provider, however wouldn't it just be easier to set the device outside the first NAT layer? Just a thought.
