D-LINK DI-534 always says dhcp disconnected won't renew IP

i curently have a wired nic in to see if that was the problem but still nothing. i've had 3 of these 2 from bestbuy and this one from newegg and always the same thing. i've been on the phone with d-link for 3 hours and my isp for 2 and they keep saying it's the otherones problem. i switched out the router with a wired linksys and everything works fine so it has to be the router but i find its hard to believe that 3 in a row are bad.any ideas what could be the problem?

update:
i took my whole system over to nik's (FFMCobalt) house and got everything to work fine on his modem but when we got back here same problem. but my modem works great with my wired linksys modem so all we can come up with is that the router and modem aren't playing nice together. but they both still work just not together. modem model is westell B90. they had a glitch and didn't send me out a modem but i had this one from when i had verizon like 2 years ago. i hope they send me a different model.
