I apologize if this has been posted before, if you do a search for

D-Link Air-Plus Extreme 108G Router on officemax's site it'll come up.

the cardbus/pci adapters are relatively cheap too, I forget how much I paid I think it was 40 with a 10mir or maybe 50 with 10mir

with tax came out to be 117 for router and laptop adapter with 30 bucks back from 2 mir.

It disconnectecs and reconnectes very often at my gf's house. The 624 at my house is much more stable. One thing I noticed is that when i disabled SSID broadcast the connecting stopped dropping.

have her check if they use 2.4ghz cordless phones... those interfere horrendously... have them upgrade to 5.8ghz phones... also check with their neighbors for that too

I'm having problems with signal strength with the D-Link PCI card, but the laptop card works wonderfully.

I just bought the DI-624, and while it does work well, I'm taking it back. It won't allow you to use multiple static IP address on the WAN side, so it's off to Belkin I go!

I;m going to have to take back the praise. The router (at least the wired portion) crapped out on me, it kept dropping wired connections every 5-10 minutes and the only way to reconnect was to reboot it. The wireless portion still worked flawlessly though. I unhooked it and hooked up my old DI-604 back until I RMA this b!tch
