I have been planning on setting up a home network for sometime and just noticed that the DLink 713P is now available for under $100.

From an old office network configuration I have two ZoomAir PC Cards (Model 4000). I understand that these use the 802.11b standard but are 2MB instead of the newer cards at 11MB.

Is it possible to use the cards with the DLINK 713P?

Thanks,

Tom

I'm really not sure but the best thing to do would be to call DLink's support line or email their techs.

You can call DLink's tech support at 800-758-5489.
You can get the Dlink DI-713P manual at ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Gateway/di713p/Manual/di713p_manual.pdf

I would guess that it supports all 802.11B devices but I've never heard of someone using those kinds of cards with an 11Mbps 802.11B AP.

Good luck!

Edit: I just got in on that deal as well and can't wait for that AP to arrive! :)
