;)

This is a pretty sweet OD dealio...especially if U R havin' a LAN party soon :)

ck. it out...

Hit this to activate your $15 off $50 code in your cart. Search Pepsi and add 17 cases to your cart. Free shipping.

I think that they also have Pepsi, Lipton Brisk, and Diet Pepsi ;)

lemme get the calculator out now...and get the facts straight 4uall :)

okay... that's about
$2.99/case x 17 cases = 50.83 * 1.06 (roughly 6% sales tax in some states) = 53.8798
- 15 of off 50 = 38.8798
38.8798 / 17 cases ~ $2.29/case of YOUR CHOICE OF PEPSI PRODUCT! THAT is a stealio my friends! ;)

and...just in case U were wondering...that's 170 calories/can * 12 cans/case * 17 cases = 34680 calories!

whew! I guess I'd better go find a Jenny Craig hot dealio now! :)

FYI... for those of U in a college/apt type situation...here's the math on the amount of room that you would need to store 17 cases of Mt. Dew...b/c contrary to popular belief...U can not drink 2448 cans of Mt. Dew in a day...or week...or month! :) (w/o partying that is...)

typical mt.dew container is 10 1/2" x 7 3/4" x 4 3/4" ~ 386" cubed * 17 cases = 6571" cubed or 3.8 cubic feet I think :)

so...there it is...the way to get Mt. Dew cheap...and the answers to the questions that I'm sure will be the first ones to your mind! :D

I think i'd better go to bed...:p

Isn't 20% off $50 equal to $10 off $50? So you'd be better off going with the $15 off, unless of course that expired or something. 17 cases of Mountain Dew... excellent. Must buy. With that much caffeine, I can take a few more classes next semester. Hmm... maybe around 21 credits. :)

OD's system is down right now. I hope they have MD: Code Red. That stuff is good :) Much better than original MD. Anyone tried Amp (the energy drink from Mountain Dew)? Tastes like Mountain Dew with a slightly strange aftertaste. Expensive stuff, at $2 a pop, but it keeps you up all night (and the next day) like a mofo. I couldn't fall asleep, no matter how hard I tried. My hands were literally shaking from drinking 3 of those things!

Coffee doesn't work for me, so college students, try this out if you're sick and tired of the black liquid. Drinking too much coffee also gives me a sore throat, so I love my MD.

i was thinking the same thing 20% is $10! $15 is more than 10. or is that 20$ not 20%??

Last time i ordered this deal it was $20 off $50 making it unbeatable!

i think the point of the 20% off link was in case you wanted to buy more than $50 worth of the sodas... thus, it would be a good deal, since i'm pretty sure you can't use the coupon twice. you could always use another email address when you register... but then, that would be a tremendous amount of soda.

Last week, a local supermarket chain, Shop'n'Save, had Pepsi products on-sale. One could buy a 6 pack of 24 oz. bottles for $1.80 plus tax. Except, for the comfort of home delivery, a better buy then what folks are bragging about through OD. The number one problem is that even with two daily deliveries, finding no stock on a store visit is very common.

For the pre-Christmas period, Shop'n Save has Pepsi products 24 packs for $4.48 each and Coke products are $2.29 per 12 packs.

I got in on this when there was a $20 off $50 coupon :D

Plus, no bottle deposit (if you live in one of those states) so 17 * 12 = 204 cans. 204 * .05 (bottle deposit here in IA) = $10.20

That's $10.20 that I don't have to pay to OD but I will get back when I take the cans back. That makes it even cheaper!

This also means that for you damned MI people that you'd get like $20 off your final price because you deposit is 10 cents if I remember correctly.

Geez, I was getting all worked up about a KILLER deal, and then realized is was just a regular old GOOD deal.

FYI, a "case" in most places is 24 cans, due to the case shipment size that's been around far longer than the 12-packs.

$2.29/12-pack is a decent-to-good deal, but not killer. $2.00 is killer.

Kmart has Pepsi 12-packs 2 for $4.44 through today, Dec 16. (Edit - just got back from the Super Kmart in my area, the 24-packs of Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, and Mt Dew were $3.97 each! Limit 2, but the automated registers rang up 4 no problem).

If anyone is REALLY thirsty, there is a $30 off $100 floating around. Just do a search at the usual places. :)

I just bought 6 24 pack cases of Pepsi/DrP/Code Red for 3.99 each at Giant Eagle. How is this a hot deal?

This is a deal that just keeps popping up every three weeks or so (whenever OfficeDepot releases another $15 off $50 coupon). Nothing new -- and in fact people who post this deal confuse 12 pack and case (which is 24 pack). How different people can confuse the two is amazing.

What does make this a HOT deal is people who work in offices (like me). Taking the train downtown, I definately don't want to be hauling that much pop to the office. Nice deal to have OD deliver the goods. We've placed four orders of the past few months and about time to see the smiling OD delivery man's face again ;)

It's not a TON of storage either -- we just put the 17 12 packs into a couple of file cabinets - hardly a TON. A bit of over emphasis on the storage needs. :Q

Yeah, but your "Shop'n'Save" store isn't available to the to a large number of us users. Office Depot - on the other hand, is.

I 've done this deal before, but now it has this posted on the site. Have they charged any other Michigander deposit?

Refreshing any time of the day, Pepsi® soft drinks can be delivered directly to your office. Prices do not include state or local deposit fees (where applicable). Subject to availability.

I did this deal a few months ago.
I figured... by buying 17 cases... that it would last a long time.

Guess what...
Its all damn gone!!! lol. So I don't think I saved anything... cause I just drank a hell of a lot more. :(

This is an asome deal with the free shipping in michigan. Deposit in michigan is 10 cents, so you really get another $20.40 off! They don't charge deposit, but the cans come from local stores so you can return them for the deposit!

Repeat of a repeat of a repeat of a repeat.

Also:

Kroger: Pepsi products 2 for $4
KMart: Most brands $1.99 12 pack

At most....most grocery stores have pop for $2 for $5, so this isn't so hot.

Most people confuse "Case" with "Cube" if I remember correctly. When they first started making the 24 packs the bottling companies refered to them as "Cubes" then a bunch of stupid frat guys started calling them a case because they were confused with having 2 seperate names for pop and they just figured it would be easier for their last few remaining brain cells to handle "Case".

Since I was young, a "Case" of pop was a 12 pack. Then when they started doing to 24 pack thing it was a "Cube". :D

Also,
Deposit is already included in the price of the pop. So you can (as stated before) take them back to the store and get the .10 in Michigan. Makes your final cost per case less than $1.00.... Try to find that around a college town where they try to milk students and the surrounding population by charging $4.00 a case!!!! Bastards.

And....
I had a few others try to order the pop from OD and got the $68.xx shipping charge as well. Called OD and spoke with them and they recently changed their policy to including shipping if you aren't within a "Local Service Area" meaning if you aren't within like 45 miles of one of their stores. I just had them ship the the pop to me and I payed them, then delivered the pop to them for $10 delivery :D Saved them some $$ and made me some $$.

A side note. OD was getting raped on spending the extra $$ to send 17 cases of pop (177 pounds) to their customers overnight, that's why they started the shipping costs!

My 2 cents
