Alright, I'm not a D&D person - tried it twice with friends; didn't bite. Anyhow, my friend heads a production company ()obligatory plug here and so he was in a local convention, and I got to get my doodle book signed by Gary Gygax as well as by the head artist a few years ago - whaddaya think this sucker'll fetch in the long run?

(I didn't intend to get it signed so I can hawk it on EBay - but I'm just curious . . ..)
 
Things worth always depends on there being a moron out there willing to give you money. Honestly worthless but in the future there might be a right D&D nerd that will give you 50K? 😛

Interesting tidbit about tabletop RPG's. Every year, the average age of players goes up by almost exacly 1 year. In other words, it probably will be worth jack in the long run because all tabletop rpg's will no longer exist.

I'd like to see this fact. I find it very VERY tough to believe that many older players started at an old age. Used to hang around a gaming store, and kids always managed to come in for every type of game.

It's not people are starting at an older age, it's that there arn't that many new players. This is also specifically tabletop rpg, and not (non video/computer) gaming in general. Digging up the stat might take some time, but I'll make the effort.
