Wouldn't mind having the Icewind Dale games, but already own BG + expansion, NWN's, and Temple of Elemental Evil was buggy as hell (although probably the best (if you could consistently play)).

TOEE has a very active community patch and optional content mod called Circle of Eight, which has done some extensive work to fix up the game.

icewind dale is so bad...

If you were to compared its storyline, character development, characters and just the overall quality to Baldur's gate then you on the road to massive disappointment.

Icewind Dale is more focused on combat, but that in no way makes it bad, or of lower quality.

Icewind Dale 1 was a very good party-based hack and slash game, and the story was at least as good as any Bethesda main quest :)

I've heard bad things about modding some of the bundles, vs. buying the DRM-free versions from GoG.com so you might want to read up on that if you want to use hires / widescreen mods or the Baldur's Gate smush-it-all-together mod.

I've played most of those games, and just seeing their names on my screen makes me feel so nostalgic. Baldurs gate was the first computer game I ever played that got me hooked into PC gaming.

But I know there's no way I play those games again....not unless there was a substantial overhaul in their graphics.
