The candidate server has been moved to another server, unfortunately the DNS changes has not made it through all the servers yet. In the meantime, put this line in your hosts file (in Windows... anything else and I don't know what you need to do)

67.98.89.121 data.d2ol.com

This will point the client to the new server for food! :)


DPC flushes limited the TeAm to team and individual bronzes yesterday. I'm happy to say that I resurrected a couple of boxes yesterday (XP2100 & XP1800) so if we can get some new work, I won't have to copy /res directories from other machines to keep them alive! :)

Thanks for the stats!!!!

Until they fix the probelm with getting new tasks I will be switching my fleet over to DPAD. I guess I should have set it to more than 50 tasks :eek:

BofBnT - You can get around it temporarily by loading up the /res directory from a machine that is relatively full. Since the cands get tested multiple times for ensure the results, there is no harm in doing this. If you need a few, I can supply them to you. All you need to do is save the node*.* files in the /res dir, replace the whole dir, and restore the node*.* files. I've done this on the two machines and I resurrected and they are crunching away merrily! :)

when you are using linux, the hosts file can be found here '/etc/hosts' so you also can get your food :)

Gentlemen. Set your ques to 2000. That way the candidate server can go down for 2 weeks or longer and you won't care. :D
