My production may be down a bit over the next couple of days. A couple of my nodes have gone haywire and just mowed through candidates not doing any real work. So, I posted on the D2OL forum and Charles AIMed me to show me how to put the node in debug mode so that it will create a verbose debug log. Just waiting now for one of the nodes to go nuts again...

TY4 stats GeoffS. I had the same problem Sunday. Client went through nearly 1000 candidates in 2 hours, then it started working again. Wierd.
 
3 of my home PC's did the same thing, one needed a reinstall and on the other 2 I was able to flush out the bad canidates and restart. Figured it was just a bad run from the canidate server since it's the 1 st problem I've had since the released ver. 2. Haven't had a problem since but losing 5 to 6 hours of crunching per machine hurts. (So does coming back from Thankgiving Holliday and finding several of the work fleet shut down.)

Almost forgot, Thanks for the stats, they're much appreciated.

Just finished my initial 24 hour period with two nodes running on a P4 with hyperthreading enabled. Ran 132 today.. very nice.. 🙂
