I have searched the VIA site, and am not really interested in joining another site on the odd chance of finding these there. Any suggestions?

You might want to search national semi conductor. I think they still have the rights to the media gx.

Thanx for that info, but they sold it to VIA. I can't seem to find a driver section for that chip.

Actually, go to www.national/geode/

NSM still owns the rights to the GX processor.
