kittens are usually born with their eyes closed, and are like that for about a week or so... i wonder how this one was able to open its eye like that if it only lived one day

The kitten was born with one eye - obviously it has some kind of defect. What makes you think it's one eye was going to be normal?!?

how did your parrot pull up after it's mystery illness?

Yeah - got kinda of scared for a while there. If I had not checked on him that day, I'm sure he'd be dead by now. After about 5 days of hand feeding, he had enough strenght to stay on his perch and eat by himself.

He back to his normal self now (right now he's humping the bottom of his cage 😱 ).

Now the question is - was it the left eye, or the right eye? Or did they merge into a single eye, which is why it was so big?

maybe that's why it died. perhaps they should have taped it's eye shut for the first week or so. maybe it took one look at the world with that eye, and decided it would be better off dead.

ya
