Tire Puncture Index?

Threads Per Inch?

I have no idea. And is a higher number better?

Threads Per Inch.
And just like linen, the higher the TPI the better the fabric or in this case. the case!

Thanks. Can you explain how a higher TPI is better? More puncture resistant?

It just makes the case stronger and allows for higher PSI rating.
Higher PSI = lower rolling resistance.
Lower rolling resistance = less work for YOU!
Also, the higher the PSI the less likely you are to get certain types of flats. (I.E. pinch flats, but I find I get less puncture flats with a higher pressure tire as well)
