I'm new to biking. After reading lots of reviews and trying several bikes, I went with a 2001 Raleigh M80. It has 6061 Alum frame, LX rear/Deore front derailers, Deore cranks, bar ends, an ok suspension fork and so-so suspension seat post. But for the money, it has the best components I could afford. Great bike for a novice like myself. Doubt I'll outgrow it any time soon.:)

And I'm 38.

I have a couple bikes that I ride:

Mongoose NX 7.1 front suspension. I changed out a lot of the parts, so now it has a bunch of XT components, Velocity DeepV rims (red), Tioga mud tires, and Manitou SXR? front suspension. Stock pic here:

Trek Y-77 carbon fiber road bike. Setup for racing, full Ultegra component set, Mavic MA3 rims (I built them myself), actually, I built the whole bike myself... Very sweet ride, and fast as hell! I haven't done a lot of racing because of work and school, but one of these summers I will try to get more serious about it... Stock pic here:

Specialized Hard Rock. No suspension, setup strictly for commuting between work and school. Has Zefal fenders all around. I use it all winter here in Minnesota, I wish I had some studded tires though... The icy and snowy sidewalks are hard to ride with this bike... All components are stock except for the fenders.

I also have a Trek Y-22 carbon fiber full suspension frame. It was a whole bike, but I never used it because in MN we don't have any places that require full suspension. I took most of the parts off and used them on my Mongoose, but still haven't sold off the frame... Anyone interested? Info here:

As for info about me, I am 21 and live in St. Paul, Minnesota. I used to ride a lot of cross country trails with my hardtail, but have since moved on to road racing, it's faster...

My bike right now is a DiamondBack Topanga. I got it for $100 off my Uncle, so it was a good deal. He also gave me a spare tube, a bike pump, bar ends, and a side view mirror. ;)

I will be upgrading to the Trek 4500 in the near future. I love mountain biking, and my current bike just isn't cutting it for me. Also, the frame on my DiamonBack is too big more me.
