yeah i dont know why thathappened, but i noticed there was some errors when i transferreed some mp3's from the cd to the HD. When i trieed to move the mp3s from the d drive to another folder on the C drive, it gave me a cyclic redundancy check error . So i figured there was a problem burning those broken files, so i re copied the mps from the the cd on the harddrive, and i made each mp3 was all set. Then i did the burn and it was all set. That was just a copy of files off the harddrive.

Last night i tried copying a cd to cd w/ only 1 drive. I put in the source cd and it was reading the disk, and it looked like it created some huge 650 MB file on my D drive. When i put in my blank cd it gave me that cyclic redundancy check error again, but this time it was right in the nero software where i got the error, so i figured there was something wrong w/ that huge file now that it was trying to burn from. If the files are read only should that cause any problem when copying them? I am not modifying them just copying. I donyt know, but anyways my friedn had an extra PCI slot that gives me 2 more IDES, so i hooked that in and put back in a normal cd drive also. Then i did the cd copy and it werked. I wonder if there is somethign wrong w/ copying files onto the D drive and then trying to burn them , since nero was instaled on C? They created that huge 650 MB file to the D drive by default.

Funny thing happened when i put that IDE pci card in , it woiuldnt strat my computer up, and would say OS not found, but then switched to anothe pCI and it werked. Whatever.
