Cybiko Classic $9.50, Cybiko Extreme $49 at Staples B&M

I was at Staples today and they are clearing out the Original Cybiko for $9.50 and they had the Cybiko Extreme for $49.00. I asked if it was national and the dude said yes. I got a couple of the Originals. What can you do with a Cybiko? Program it. Here's a dev site /Cybiko Dev. It would be cool to use it as the wireless link for a robot.

<< what's the difference between the original and the extreme? >>

The extreme is newer, has more ram, more RF bandwidth, more processor power, USB instead of Serial link to PC, and a different keyboard. I think there's still a rebate for a free MP3 player attachment for the Extreme, you have to add MMC or Secure Digital cards to use it though.

Looks like its still going on: rebate info

Here's the specs for the classic and the ones for the extreme.

Basically the Extreme has 2megs instead of 0.5meg and an 18 instead of 11 MHz CPU. It's also smaller and the keyboard is nicer.
