Well as we all know some people can't understand that building computers now days is very simple and cheaper, my brother in law is one of them. In his case he gets very good discounts for almost anything I can think off( state job/k9 unit). Anyways he's a gamer, he wants a pre-built system, all pre-built brands I know off are alienware, abs,I buy power. But upon recent search I also saw cybertronpc. Never seen it before but people give it good reviews. So no without starting a thread saying it's over priced and all which pre-built company is most reliable and best quality?

It appears they are just an off-the-shelf builder, much like CyberPowerPC is. So really it just comes down to pricing, service, and warranty options since they will basically use the same components that people select for the customization of the PC. Although for some reason CybertronPC only gives you pretty crappy choices for PSU selection. You'd think if you were customizing a $2100 PC, you'd have more choices available other than Ultra, In Win, and Antec.

CybertronPC has a C+ rating from the BBB, and are not accredited. While CyberPowerPC has an A+ rating, and are accredited.

Probably not too many people on this site will have ever used one of them, but you never know.

HP and Dell offer "gaming" systems as well. HP even has pre-built systems with GTX 1070 or AMD RX 480 cards.

Oof! Generally if you don't have at least an A rating with the BBB you're doing something very wrong.

So other words stay away from them? They seem to cheaper then most. We saw a desktop i7700 kaby lake gtx 1070 ssd 16 gigs ram for 1k plus his discount, compared to alienware similar setup for 350$ more or ibuypowerpc for 200$ more? Does the price difference mean plain quality of product?

That's only something you can decide. I wouldn't personally spend that kind of money with a company that has been in business for 20 years, and isn't BBB accredited.

That old saying of "You get what you pay for".

Just Google the name of the company + BBB. Sometimes there are multiple companies that have the same name, but you can tell by looking at the city they are based in (CybertronPC is based in Kansas according to their website):

We have been an established Kansas Corporation since January of 1997.

Yeah... like not paying your "dues" (I've also heard it termed, "protection money").

True, there are fees. But it's still way cheaper than signing up with review sites like ResellerRatings. I've read they've jacked their rates to almost $900 a month for some of their largest clients.

If BBB charges protection money, ResellerRatings charges blood money. ;)

I agree it sucks that places like BBB, ResellerRatings, Bizrate, etc all charge membership fees, but it's just the cost of doing business. People buying stuff online want a way to be sure they're not going to be ripped off and have an avenue to get their complaints addressed.
