Cybersecurity as a college major

I have a student who is interested in a college major in cybersecurity. Anyone know of some good resources for him to find out more information, good universities/colleges he might wish to look at, and what job/salary prospects are?

Thanks. I see they're accredited with Middle Atlantic - but graduate programs. I advised the student to contact SANS and see what would be good majors leading up to them. SUNY Alfred apparently has a program in cybersecurity. I'm not sure how rigorous of a program it is.

I know a guy that got a masters in this, he went to Western Governors University, he currently works in security. I don't know what he is paid though, I would assume it's between 80-100k or so.
