Cyberrebates!!

Woohoo, I got $598 from the cyberrebates settlement. Now the book can forever be closed on the dot com era along with the chapter on getting paid to surf.
 
At first it was a good deal, they'd give you random crap for reasonable prices (around msrp) and you'd get your rebates in maybe a couple months time. Then they got evil and started charging around 500-1000% msrp (60-70 bucks for a normal candle) and rebates became more and more delayed. My family purchased a few things at the beginning of the craze and then stopped, my aunt got stuff right before they went "bankrupt" and spent a lot of money there. You can definitely spend a few thousand if you got carried away (10 candles? books? laser pointers?)
 
All before my 21st birthday too! But I do now have The Matrix on DVD, um, uh, also the, well, I'm sure it was money well spent. I got most of it back from my credit cards, but I was stupid. This was when I was making $500 a month from the "get paid to surf" programs. I figured if those worked than this would too. Oh if only I had the spread sheets showing how I'd never have to work again!

Yeah, he would have had to file a claim last year. The case is closed unless someone doesn't cash their check, at which point there will be another refund of .00001 cents or something.
