I've ordered a Cyberpower Gamer Ultra XLC. It's just been shipped. The CPU is water-cooled and the GPUs are air-cooled. I've been reading some stuff about it online, though, and came across some troubling info about the cooling:
http://www.tomshardware.com/howto/20050824/water_cooling-03.html
"Here's the CyberPower attached to the case's blow hole (the fan vent in the top of the case.) During some of our tests the system froze; we are not sure the cooling was adequate, because the hottest air was being blown out the top of the case via the blow hole. The system BIOS stated that the CPU was at 63 degrees Celsius. We are still determining if it was a CPU or a GPU freeze up; we'll just have to wait for the full system review."
So I paid attention when I saw these:

"The prices are amazingly, at least for the system I configured (7800 SLI system) were 2,000 dollars less than a similar system from Alienware." - description fits the XLC
"My only complaint about the system is the 120mm fan on the side of the case blowing directly over the video cards, increasing temperature by hindering the card's onboard fans, but it's nothing serious."
Note that he says that the fan is blowing into the case over the cards.

From an article about the case the system uses:
"The side window of the case sports an oversized 120mm fan covered by quite a nice Tornado fan grill. The fan is oriented to blow air out"
So does Cyberpower switch the direction of the fan, screwing up the cooling? It seems like an odd situation, so I'm probably getting something wrong here (I'm pretty much a hardware newbie). What do you think?
I suppose I'll find out when Tom's Hardware releases their XLC review in the upcoming days.
