I figured this was the best forum since I'm dealing with a specific piece of software here :D

Just built a new system and just bought Cyberlink Powerdirector 13. I'm wanting to make 60 FPS 1080p videos for Youtube, however, I'm not sure if CPU encoding or OpenCL is the way to go. I have an i5-4690K and an R9 270 2 GB.

I hear Quicksync produces a noticeable lack of quality but is fast. General CPU encoding is supposedly the end all, be all when it comes to quality but I hear OpenCL should be much faster for a negligible quality hit compared to CPU. Any thoughts?

Edit: currently running an encode of an 18 min 1080p 60 FPS video. It's on track to be finished in 23 mins.
