CyberGenie Kills Win2K System!

Anyone using this on Win2K? I'm experiencing a lot of problems when the cybergenie is running (and they all go away when it is not running). Some programs are VERY slow to start up. Installing software is painfully slow -- what takes 10 seconds takes over 10 minutes with CyberGenie. It's really strange. I have a 700Mhz, 256MB computer, so I don't think that is the problem. Anyone have any ideas? I love this phone, but there is no support!!

My father has been having similar problems. He found that by switching Win2K to "Workgroups", cybergenie would work. This presented another problem, however, when in workgroups his analog modem won't work.

He to loves Cybergenie, but Win2K issues are driving him nuts!

...And then, of course, there's the issue of whether Win2K is even Win any more. From what I've heard, the installation process is totally different... the OS switches to XENIX and installs all software in a XENIX hard disk slice, which is then translated, on the fly, to a BSD slice and onto a MAC HFS file system, through a ReiserFS and then finally to NTFS and (if you've made the mistake of installing FAT or FAT32), FAT or FAT32 🙁

Running Cybergenie, however, hmmm well that's a whole different problem. Depending on the phase of the moon and the current location of the second hand on your clock and the angle it makes with the current position of the second hand on your home/office's master clock, ....
