Cyber Monday shopping thread

I'm curious as to where people are shopping and what they are buying today. This is also an opportunity to brag about any hot deals you may have found.

For myself, I am window shopping for components for a new build. Newegg seems to have some fairly good prices.

Nothing special. Were they EVER good?

Nothing beats any sudden hot deals that pop on slickdeals.net time to time on year round.

so far its the same discounts I'm seeing pre black friday on items I like, mainly ssd / memory, price should go lower as time goes anyway

Not looking for anything in particular, but I'm open to making a purchase or two if the opportunity presents itself. Clothing, electronics, etc...

Cyber Monday has been very good in the past.... However, it seems like all the craziness was the day BEFORE black Friday this year or the ones to be had right at Midnight.

Seems weak this morning.

I got two 30 packs of quilted northern for $22 shipped from Staples. Not an exciting purchase, but that's a good price and I didn't even have to elbow anyone at Walmart for it.

meh.

I bought a bunch of clothes at Gap with a 30% off "Cyber Monday" coupon, but they send out 20-30% off coupons throughout the year... it just happened that I'm in need of new clothes for the winter.

Lowe's had a pretty good deal for an impact driver from Porter Cable. $69.99 with Li-Ion battery. Very nice if you are planning a spring cabinet job or deck job.

Only wanted one thing and I got it...

Although I'm itching for a 46" LED TV to replace my perfectly fine 40" LCD... Meanwhile, I'm too cheap to blow $60 on a sweater at J.Crew. Damn I got cheap over the last year.

This.

Also due in part to my grace period ending on my student loans coupled with my criminally priced car insurance. God I love that car though

I like the saying "We spend thanksgiving spending time being thankful for the things we have before rushing out on black Friday to buy things we don't need."

made me crack up.

I don't really know how THANKSGIVING where we bow our heads in thanks for a turkey and some potatoes ended up occurring before the biggest ever electronics spending frenzy ever.

My Mercury car insurance just can't be beat. USAA was good but they changed their rates for my area, poof!

Purchased 3G Samsung Chromebook from Staples for $329 and WiFi Samsung Chromebook at Newegg for $249. Both at MSRP but I'm happy. It's been out of stock everywhere.

Ordered some EMJ goodies at 25% off, and a Zagg Invisible Shield at 50% off. Probably be the only things I purchase this year.

Continuation of amazon lightning deals, got a $150 security cam for $100 otherwise worthless; saw nothing on any sites worth my time.

Picked up a Logitech mouse & keyboard at Amazon this afternoon. Was looking towards Newegg but Amazon smoked them for price. Not sure if it's a genuine CM sale price, or their normal, but since I still tend to benchmark against Newegg as I've done for oh 15 years now it seemed like a good deal.

$60 instead of $82 - http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wirel...=logitech+k800

$50 instead of $85 - http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wirel...mance+mouse+mx

Free shipping on both. Works for me. If there's a better deal on these right now I don't want to know 😉
