Cyber Acoustics Computer Speakers Recommendation

Hi there,
I was wondering if Cyber Acoustics is a good brand of computer speakers? I am thinking about getting a system and was wondering how good they are? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I count 16 different 2.1 Cyber Acoustics computer speakers available. They also sell many other configurations Which are you considering? To what will you be listening? What is the rest of your audio system?

And, asking which is best is kind of like asking "What is the best fast food hamburger? I'm sure some fast food burgers are better than others, but none taste anywhere near as good as a gourmet hamburger.

The standard reply to someone starting out in audio is to hit a local Salvation Army, Goodwill, or other resale store and pick up a used stereo amplifier or stereo receiver, and some home audio bookshelf speakers.

never heard of them. the vast majority of people go with Logitech 2.1, and people who want a bit better in quality generally buy Klipsch.

computer audio tends to be built with cost in mind, so you're not going to get a high-end system, but then again it won't cost as much as one. Logitech pretty much owns that market and they offer the best price-quality ratio.

I've seen their stuff on Amazon, and based on user reviews and pricing, I look at them being sorta a cheaper knock-off brand. The saying of "you get what you pay for" comes to mind with some of these unknown overseas brands. They gotta cut corners somewhere.

Plus, I don't know what you are looking at spending (or what type of setup), but you can get a known good 2.1 set of Logitech Z623 on sale for $89. When checking out speakers around a year ago, I listened to some of the cheaper Logitech/Insignia/other brands systems ($50>) and none sounded very good in my opinion. Also the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 were on sale for $99, and I don't know if their demo set were broken or the source was bad, but they sounded horrible.

I picked up a pair of Advent AV5 speakers at GoodWill for $6.
Hooked therm to a headphone/speaker amp from a set of Logitech Z-130 speakers ($12 at Microcenter).
Basically, a home audio system for a total Investment $18 and they look and sound great.
