"cwjerome banned?

Why did cwjerome get banned?!?! I thought his posts were informed and insightful. He didn't apologize for his strong political beliefs, but I didn't read anything that was ban-worthy. If someone could show me the post that got him banned, I would appreciate it. Until then, I'm assuming it's more liberal thought control. Just like you want to remove Fox News, to muzzle any and all conservative viewpoints. :roll:

Such comments are totally unacceptable.

Your facts are laughably incorrect, and your judgement and actions even more so. cwjerome was not banned. As for you, you will be spending the next two weeks elsewhere. It is simply NOT acceptable for you or anyone else to launch public attacks on our personal integrity. We will not tolerate it. P&N is difficult enough to moderate as it is. End of story.

Was he even banned from posting in this forum. I do agree that he was not even close to the extreme views shown in this forum. Possibly another forum? dunno.

I don't know the specifics. He emailed me and said he was banned. If there is not sufficient proof, this is an outrage.

You know a PM to the mods (who DO know) would have been a better idea, if you still wanted to post a thread about a banning, then this is the wrong forum, go to FI instead.

Well, this was the forum he posted on, and this is the forum that a member didn't like what he had to say got him banned. So I think this is absolutely the corrct forum to post it in.

Ummm... I don't and it's clearly against the rules. No personal flames. How simple does it get? Sometimes people get lucky (see my sig), sometimes people don't get seen, and sometimes you get in trouble. Big whoopie. Is it that hard to see the difference between attacking someone's ideas and actually attacking the person? (For the record I haven't seen any evidence he was even vacationed but I certainly wouldn't shed a tear if he was).

I do not think it is entirely conservative, but I think they show both sides. Libs hate it because they do give equal time to the conservative viewpoint.

No, I've known cwjerome for 10 years. We always have lively political discussions. I asked him to join this forum, as it has gotten interesting as we near the election. And frankly, we needed more conservatives here. Should have told him to cut back on expressing hopes of horrible deaths to his opponents.
