I bought a dual-cpu capable motherboard, the CUV4X-DLS.
I'm looking for a Pentium III cpu to put in this board.
I read that some Intel CPU are not dual-cpu certified.... that I must get the same stepping number, batch number, manufacture date, etc.
Is this true? I read that I need the cB0 stepping???
Also, how come some PIII CPUs have 256K L2 cache, while some PIII CPU have 512K cache?
Which CPU should I get? Anybody running this motherboard with PIII 933Mhz?
I'm looking forward to buying (2) CPUs for this board but I don't want to make a mistake buying the wrong chip. Please help.
Thanks,
