Cutting Tools: Dremel/Rotary vs. Spiral Saw?

I went to HomeDepot to pick up the Dremel Toolkit ($59.99). I miraculously found a salesman there, and I asked him about the Dremel. Basically, he said that is was more for "arts and crafts", and that if wanted to cut sheet metal easily I should get a RotoZip spiral saw ($99.99).

Since I haven't used either of the two, any suggestions? Practically, most people doing mods are using Dremels, so I'm not sure. But, alot of those people have reported going through plenty of cutting "discs." (Yes, I don't know much about tools/hardware). If that's not the case with the RotoZip, then I'd be inclined to go for it. Unless, of course, there other advantages to having the Dremel.

Any thoughts on which of the two may be the better way to go: rotary tool or spiral saw.

I guess my question was answered at the HardForum Dremel Vs. RotoZip thread. After searching through a few forums it seems that the Dremel is the better choice because of its flexibility. For me, the cheaper price helps too.

Off to HomeDepot... My Fong Kai molestation will begin soon.
