Cutting Plastic?

My case came with a clear plastic window on the top with a blow hole.

However, the holes for the fan are these little square holes that don't let enough air flow.

I'd like to either make them bigger or cut between them makeing bigger holes.

Anybody know how to cut this plastic so it doesn't crack, and how to smooth the newly cut edges?

Dremels can cut plexiglas, but they leave rough edges. You can use a torch to smooth the edges.

I would use progressicely finer grits of sandpaper and then use Novus Plactic Polish No. 2. It takes some aggressive rubbing but it will eventually polish up nicely.
