Cutting an mpeg movie

I captured a 15 minute video in mpeg format and I want to split it up into 20 scenes. CAn anyone reccomend a program that will allow me to spilt a large video file into smaller scenes?
 
Simple Option - Windows Movie Maker (Present in Windows XP)

Fancy Option - Adobe Premiere

Personally, if you are looking to do nothing but split it, then use Movie Maker....
