Cutting a hole in MoBO Tray?

I am thinking about cutting a hole in my motherboard tray and also the right side pannel of my case. I would like the hole behind where my CPU sits on the motherboard. Anyone see any disadvantage? Anyone out there done it?

long as you dont cut the screw holes you need dont matter

Sweet, I wasnt sure if that did some kind of EM shielding or it did nothing.
