Did you mess with the colors on that pic? I hope so, because your hand doesn't look so good.
 
If you buy a parrot, make sure you update your will with who will inherit it. Some types live 80+ years when well cared for.
 
I may have to do this with my cockatiel. They can live 20+ years.

That being said, I really want a quaker parrot, too. Need a bigger place though.

I already have a rabbit and a bird.
