She is a 1 yr. old chihuahua/terrier mix. Rescued her from a bad home.

My first pet. She's a doll.

:laugh: I had a Lab that did that in a GMC Jimmy. She was in the backseat with her head out the window and stepped up on the armrest and rolled the window up on her neck. She started yelping and I didn't know what the hell was wrong until I looked back and saw her. I felt bad for her but it was funny as hell at the time.

Did you or your family ever have a dog before? If not I'd talk to a friend or go over to the library. Most of owning a dog is common sense but there are some things that may make your life easier.

We got our dog about 7 months ago and I would seriously recommend that you look into kennel training. It's pretty easy to do, it actually calms the dog down when you're not around, and you won't have to worry about the safety of your dog or your stuff when you're not there. Also, ask around to find a good vet. You may not want to go to the cheapest and the most expensive isn't necessarily the best. The best way to figure out a good one is to ask people who've had dogs for a while.
