That's not a chipmunk. Well it is, but not in a 'baby squirrel' sense that some of you might think it is. Chipmunks are entirely different animals. Those things used to run rampant around here and dig holes in our yard. They were all over the neighborhood in a half mile radius and apparently had been there since the beginning of the subdivision. Me and a friend were paid one year to help eliminate the "pests" from the division. Yes yes, I can feel the heat from your flames already, but in large numbers in a "rich" neighborhood, they are going to be labled as pests. They aren't so cute when they are ruining your yard you're spending thousands a year taking care of. Anyway, I won't give the gruesome details on how we did it, but they are officially gone from the neighboor hood after only 1 year of chasing them down. I don't know why I'm posting this, so I'll try to add a moral tagline. These things can reproduce rather quickly and create problems fast, so keep an eye out on the population.
