I just saw the most amazing segment on the Today show about Capuchin monkeys being used to help disabled people. They are incredible, they can do so many things, like put food in the microwave and turn it on, turn the page of a magazine, get a bottle of drink and remove the lid, etc. They are basically like an intelligent, small child, and live with disabled people to assist them with their daily tasks.
They cost about $30,000 dollars and 12 years to train.
They are trained at the Helping Hands monkey college.
