"Cut 'n Paste" trolling should be a bannable offense

I have noticed that a lot of threads by certain individuals are nothing but verbatim "cut and paste" articles from news sources. There is often no original content, or perhaps one line of propoganda masquerading as content.

As I see it, this amounts to spam and should be a bannable offense.

If it's informative and sparks discussion, I see no problem with this. Perhaps they haven't formed an opinion or there's just nothing worth saying from them. Silence is a virtue.

Behavior like that contributed to the demise of the Hardware central OT Forum in the late 90's

What would NFS4 post then? :p

I don't really see a problem with it unless they claim it as their own. Of course, the mods can't be copyright police either anyway.

The OP is just poasting an article for discussion. Where is the harm in that?

Posting anything should be a bannable offense; hell, just logging in should be a bannable offense.
