Cut finger - Need to protect it from the water all day tomorrow

Here is a pic that is about how bad my finger is cut. same size, but i'm not sure if it as deep as the one pictured ugly cut (you've been warned). My cut is on the inside of my finger and it is like a flap of skin that was pealed up about the size of a dime. General size looks about the same as the one pic i linked to.

I will be going out on the boat early to get wasted for Jobbienooner (google it for pics (NWS)). and i need to protect the cut somehow from getting soggy/torn etc.

One suggestion I was thinking about is Superglue it closed. That way no water gets in and it should be pretty safe. Needs to last all day or at least 1/2 the day and hope I'm sober enough to apply more if I need it.

Anyone else have any suggestions?

edit - it is fresh water, not salt water.

Superglue would probably be just fine!

I'd duct tape the bitch...that's just me. :D

Yeah I heard superglue is good because it'll keep the wound closed and I think I heard that its sterile.
