I have seen people post that the free offer sites are able to tell if we linked from Anandtech hot deals or elsewhere. I just went to the "Free Ansel Adams Poster" from HP. The HP site said " This offer no longe available due to abuse from freebie sites." I opened another browser. cleared my memory cache and pasted the url. Bingo, site comes up just fine and my poster is on the way. I think some of the free T-Shirts etc have not come because I have not done this before. Here is my question. Do you have to clear memory and disk cache or just memory. Do you have to clear your cookies? I think I will not use hot links anymore but cut and paste all free offers from another open browser. Is this the proper way or am I missing anthing else?
