So, yea, I've installed Logitech's SetPoint, I know you can customize buttons... I want to customize buttons differently for different applications... Like, in Winamp, pause/play/next track, in Windows Explorer double click, in Firefox scroll... I dunno, whatever... you get my point... Anyone have any clue about any other software I can use to do this? I would REALLY appreciate some help... I'm so used to my old Microsoft mouse that not having custom buttons per program is really sucking... thanks!

The set point software can do exactly that. I set up my mouse for firefox the way i like it and i hvaen't done it with winamp yet but that's a pretty good idea.

Make sure you get the newest set point software for all these possiblities. You can assign specific keystrokes for winamp like "zxcvb" that i love.

anyone else have any idea about this? i tried LogiGamer, but for some reason can't get it to work (I'm downloading an older version of SetPoint as we speak... that's the only problem I can think of)... i installed all the necessary stuff for the LogiGamer, but no luck (it crashes when i try to apply settings)... so, also, what Logitech mice have this kind of functionality through SetPoint? thanks again... =)

No problemo. If you read the thread, it seem that the program is quite customizable and the author appears to be really helpful. If you make a request, I'm sure he'll be able to help out.
