Customize Notifications...

"Customize Notifications" is grayed out when I right-click the system tray in Windows XP pro. This happens on two PCs, one running SP1, the other SP2. How to I re-enable it?

That option is only available if you have "Hide Inactive Icons" enabled in the TaskBar properties. Rclick the taskbar and choose Properties. Then put a check mark next to "Hide Inactive Icons". But if you don't like any of them hiding, you don't need to be concerned with it. 🙂 Hope that helps.
