Customer would like to transfer VHS to DVD?

I'm building a computer for a client that among other things would like to transfer VHS over to DVD what type of hardware would be required, and software recommendations as well?

I have alot of vhs tapes of wrestling and boxing from the 80s and 90s. I originally brought a canopus advc 100 but now im using my dvd recorder attached to my vcr. i use dvd-rw disks then use nero,adobe to edit
