Custom Shells for Windows XP

Hello everyone,

I am posting to see if any of you know of a good shell program that I can basically water down to the point of where my computer is a console lol. I want a shell that does not use many resources if any at all. Appearance means nothing to me, I just want it to be simple, and to function. I know of just about every shell program out there, but I have only tested AstonShell and LiteStep personally. Please help me out with some of your knowledge.
