Custom Resolutions and Win2000 Support

I am trying to find a video card that can suppot custom resolutions (or has default widescreen resolutions) under windows 2000. I know the Matrox g400 and g450 supports this, and I Know that Nvidia cards do not.

Do the new 3dfx cards (5500) Support this?

How about the ATI Radion?
