Custom resolution output over DVI with an ATI card?

I'd like to output a custom resolution over DVI with an ATI card (R9550). I have a DVI port on my DLP TV, but the display for whatever reason has decided to overscan by a few pixels on every side so I would like to correct for that. Half the start button missing is a bit annoying.

My display's native resolution is 1280x720. I'm not sure if timings matter since this is a digital display...

Sounds like a job for Powerstrip.

My firefox won't render that at all. weird. its comes up as the source. For those with same problem;

TV sets always overscan by a few pixels, to cut the noisy margin off the TV signal.
