Custom paint (interior and exterior) of a tower??

I have this question regarding moding a tower in terms of giving it a new paint job.
I have this co-worker of mine who has been customer painting cars and motorcycles and i was just wondering if its possible to custom paint a tower without damaging anything? (the case being just the case without anything in it of course) When i say damaging, more like the wires and other misc added parts like fans) *sorry for the noob quesiton* i just had to ask here🙂

Of course it is possible. I'm sure your friend knows what he's doing if he has that much experience.

You strip the case, wires, fans, switches, lights, everything goes. Here is my latest build, you can see before and after.

Nah, you can paint a fully asswmbled system with all of the parts in it without much trouble. Thats what masking tape is for. The back panel of course cant be painted unless you either A) meticulously cofer all of the parts/holes. or B) taket the stuff out first.

Some hazards you could encounter are the solvents in the paint melting plastic peices on the case, and drips running into the case.
