Has anyone had this made before from their own pictures? Any recommendations on where to get it from? There are a bunch of people who do it from a Google search but I would rather have a recommendation from someone who has had it done before.

I found a video on how to do it myself but I don't want it to look too ghetto! ;)

I don't know if there are companies that can print on the cardboard itself, but you should be able to get a large printout of a picture you have from Kinkos or something.. Some cardboard from a refrigerator box, an exacto knife, and some spray adhesive should put it together pretty easy for you.

The way you put it makes it seem it's not that hard to make! I might actually go that route. Thanks for the suggestion!

I had a friend that worked at a local video store, and he once brought home a promo display for Mrs. Doubtfire which was basically a free-standing, life-sized cardboard cutout of Robin Williams in the Mrs. Doubtfire costume.

We'd place it in dark corners of our basement and it would totally freak out any visitors we'd have over. We all grew accustomed to it, but anyone that wasn't expecting it simply saw out of the corners of their eyes an odd-looking man-sized figure leering at them from the shadows. Always good for a laugh. :D
