Help. I have a regular keyboard, and the shell of a mini keyboard. What do i do so i can hack the regular keyboard to just have the buttons i wanna use in the mini keyboard. I know the very basics of what you do, but can someone be more specific and break down what i have to do. Possibly draw a diagram or something
 
Need more info on the keyboards you have. Who made them, and give model #'s so we can find schematics.
 
its an old NEC keyboard

The model number is kb-6923....... the other numbers dont show up

The mini keyboard comes form a 3com Audrey
It is an infared wireless keyboard, but i didn't have an Audrey to use with it.
So i decided i would just use the shell of the keyboard since it's so small and neat looking.
I have one of the IRMAN receivers but that didn't seem to work with the keyboard, i guess they are on a different band or something
